Loving and knowing very well the music of West Africa in all its plurality, Thomas Dobler and Etienne Mbappé composed an original Afro-Jazz repertoire that combines different styles.

In collaboration with many partners around the world, they perform unique projects, as most recently with the Ayekoo Drummers Of Ghana.

The duo plays the repertoire of the Great American Songbook, including compositions by George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Duke Ellington. Considering the duo slightly like the Modern Jazz Quartet in a chamber music version. With more intimacy, dynamics and colors, but certainly no less Swing.
